Full job description

Position: WordPress Developer
Location – Mohali
Experience – 1-2 yrs
Day Shift – Mon to Fri ( Work from office)

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and customize responsive WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot custom WordPress plugins.
- Optimize websites for performance and speed across mobile and desktop devices.
- Resolve issues related to themes, plugins, and core WordPress functionality.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website search engine visibility.
- Work with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, etc., to customize website layouts.
- Ensure site security, scalability, and ongoing maintenance.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven experience in custom theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, AJAX, and database management.
- Solid understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git (preferred).
- Working knowledge of WooCommerce.
- Experience with WordPress multisite (a plus).
